Taekwondo
Taekwondo is a Korean Martial Art that translates to "foot, hand, art". Taekwondo is comprised of several different areas; forms, techniques, and sparring, to name a few. However, there are specific techniques associated with each level, indicated by a belt system, which starts with white and scales all the way to 9th degree black. Many martial artists have a favorite part of Taekwondo, which can be as simple as a specific kick or as complicated and detailed as entire weapon specialty. Group classes move quickly, starting with stretching and warm-up, followed by any combination of techniques, sparring, partner work, and more. Private classes allow you to personalize your training if you want to focus on, or avoid, something specific. The color of this page is based off of the most prominent colors used in Taekwondo.
