Gumdo, the "way of the sword". 

Gumdo, known also as Kumdo, is a Korean Martial Art that combines precision and agility while wielding swords. Wooden swords, called Mokum, will be the starting point for all prospective Gumdo Martial Artists, or Gumdoka. Gumdoka will start classes with stretching, forms, and basic techniques. Group classes may offer sparring and opportunities for partner work, such as striking drills. Private classes present opportunities for board breaking and advanced technical practice, as well as advanced forms.
